NHTSA Complaint #11536925 — 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ C300

The contact owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, there was an abnormal wind sound coming into the vehicle. After a visual inspection, the contact noticed that the glass was detaching from the panoramic sunroof. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who determined a failure with the adhesive. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V197000 (Structure) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 51,150.
