NHTSA Complaint #11535240 — 2022 DONGFANG DF250RTB

The motorcycle came in the mail through Venom Motorsports. As a new motorcycle rider I had planned to familiarize myself with the process as I figured it out. I have come to find out that the rear brake was never operational at all. The supposed rear brake pedal has two times dropped beneath the motorcycle as it was moving and almost levered the motorcycle upward causing a serious accident. So it seems like a kind of death lever placed and designed to kill me and was attempting to be passed off as the rear brake pedal, though nothing ever officially identified the lever as a rear brake. The spring which suspended the lever had come off during the first incident and after reaffixing it, came off again while i was travelling 60 mph with many drivers behind me. It is beneath my right foot and when it dropped, scraping along the asphalt i managed to come to a stop on the side of the road. If it had caught instead of scraped along I would have died.
