Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Flex. The contact stated while making a left turn driving 10 MPH, the traction control, power steering, and several other unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. The contact used excessive force to steer the vehicle to the destination. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V340000 (Steering) which was linked to the failure. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000. The VIN was not available.
