Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Cadillac CTS. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, he heard an abnormal sound coming from the rear wheels. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed with metal shavings inside the rear differential. The contact was informed that the rear differential needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 66,500.
