The contact owns a 2014 Buick Encore. The contact stated while driving approximately 25 MPH, the vehicle overheated. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that the water outlet and radiator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. While driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was taken back to the mechanic and the contact was informed that the failure was due to the turbo charger. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 104,000.
