NHTSA Complaint #11528841 — 2009 PONTIAC G6

The contact owns a 2009 Pontiac G6. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel became firm and difficult to turn. The power steering warning light, check engine warning light, and the TPMS warning light was illuminated. The contact’s wife then turned the vehicle off and restarted the vehicle. The dealer was notified of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 214,000.
