NHTSA Complaint #11528237 — 2018 HONDA CR-V

Three years into owning the vehicle the spark plugs were misfiring. When replacing them finding the ceramic part of the plugs were cracking. I replaced all plugs and coils and was good for only about six months. Same thing happened and progressively got worse and in shorter time between all the mis firing codes and engine stumbling and not driving over twenty mile per hour. Now I am at a point where it has become a monthly issue and have been through approximately thirty replaced spark plugs and on the third set of ignition coils. Apparently there is an extended warranty for this issue and for the past visits the dealership says they fixed the recalls and don’t see any other issues. I am taking it to the dealership again and getting it in writing this time. I want the company to fix the resin for the spark plugs consistently misfiring and address why is it progressively getting worse. I find it funny Honda recognizes something is coursing this by extending the warranty and making it unlimited miles to cover the coast of the repairs stated in the letter of these problems but haven’t stated or fixed what’s causing it. I will follow up with the next visit to the dealership with any results. I do believe this is a dated issue for the fact that is been a number of time where the all the dates features on the vehicle shut down and engine stops accelerating at times I was traveling on highways at highway speeds as well as in traffic.
