Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 BMW 528I. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, there was smoke coming from the engine and a burning odor coming from the exhaust. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the engine oil feed line had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
