NHTSA Complaint #11522809 — 2015 RAM 1500

The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving up an incline at various speeds, the vehicle would jerk and hesitate as the shift to park(P) warning message appeared on the instrument panel. The contact also stated that the vehicle would stall upon the depression of the accelerator pedal. Over time, the failure worsened as the vehicle would fail to accelerate above 35 MPH. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V406000(Fuel System, Diesel) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. Two dealers(Ourisman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram,12430 Auto Drive, Clarksville, MD 21029 and Antwerpen Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, 6440 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville, MD 21228) were both contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
