NHTSA Complaint #11518104 — 2022 CHRYSLER PACIFICA PLUG-IN HYBRID

The contact owns a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power without warning. The 'Stop Safely, Vehicle Will Shut Off" message was displayed. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer and was serviced under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V010000 (Electrical System, Hybrid Propulsion System). The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was then taken to DCH Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT Of Temecula (26845 Ynez Rd, Temecula, CA 92591), where it was diagnosed that an unknown software needed to be rebooted. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred, and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it remained awaiting further diagnosis and repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,930.
