NHTSA Complaint #11515086 — 2014 FORD F-150

I was going to get some lunch and I noticed a low brake fluid message was on. So I popped the hood to check fluid level and sure enough it was. I went to auto zone purchased some fluid and filled the reservoir and all seemed fine, but before I could get back to the office the message low brake fluid appeared again. Again I filled the reservoir with fluid at the end of my shift,the message went away and I headed home. As preceded home the message appeared again and I had to purchase more fluid and repeatedly filled the reservoir to make it home . After I got home I looked around the vehicle for leaks and there was none. I explained what happened to my mechanic and he told me my master cylinder was bad and that all the extra fluid I had put into the reservoir had leaked into my booster. About the same time I got a letter stating that a class action lawsuit was being filed in regard to brake failure and here I am.
