Consumer Description

The contact owned a 2014 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that while driving at 52 MPH, the vehicle drove over a pothole, causing the driver’s and passenger’s side curtain air bags to erroneously deploy. The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The vehicle was deemed totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 86,600.
