Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while reversing, the rear-view camera displayed a reverse image. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rear-view camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer informed the contact that the vehicle was out of warranty and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 101,000.
