NHTSA Complaint #11508778 — 2012 FORD FOCUS

The contact's girlfriend owns a 2012 Ford Focus. The contact stated that after the vehicle was stopped at a stop sign, after continuing to drive at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled. Additionally, while parked, the contact was unable to start the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the mechanic related the failure to NHTSA Campaign number: 18V735 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and 19V515000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
