NHTSA Complaint #11506705 — 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

The contact's mother owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle owner received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V813000 (Electrical System). The vehicle was taken to a local dealer for the recall repair; however, the contact was then informed that the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired, and an oil change was completed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
