NHTSA Complaint #11504555 — 2014 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon removing the passenger's side floor mat after it rained, the contact noticed that the carpet was significantly wet. The contact then discovered that the carpet showed the presence of mold. Additionally, the contact stated that the bolts securing the front passenger’s and driver’s seats to the chassis were corroded. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that it was a known failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 87,000.
