Consumer Description

Constant engine code for a very small evap leak. Vehicle was taken to C&C Automotive (4014 Washington Road, Augusta, Ga. 30907 || 762-685-5555) for a diagnostic. C&C Automotive advised that the leak was due to a faulty Fuel Control Valve, which appeared to be in a melted state. The vehicle has never been in a collision and has 11,000 miles. After some research it was found that there was a previous recall for the 2017 Ram 1500 for the same issue but I was told by Chrysler's Customer Service my Vin was not affected by the recall and I would have to pay for the replacement out of pocket.
