NHTSA Complaint #11500333 — 2018 HONDA ACCORD

The contact’s wife owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that on numerous occasions while he or his wife was driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that he was able to maneuver the vehicle off the road however, he had to wait several minutes to restart the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated followed by several unknown warning lights being intermittently illuminated. The vehicle was taken to several unknown dealers however, the cause of the failure could not be determined or duplicated. The failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V314000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 82,000.
