Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power with the air bags, brakes, TPMS, and emission warning lights illuminated. The failure nearly caused a collision. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the ECU needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
