Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2012 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle drove over a pothole, causing the driver's side air bag to deploy. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that he needed to pay out-of-pocket for the air bag replacement. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
