The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the back-up camera occasionally failed to work as needed and intermittently went black while reversing. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who confirmed that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V644000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline. The approximate failure mileage was 105,000.
