NHTSA Complaint #11491786 — 2014 FORD FOCUS

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the TCM and another unknown warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The contact was informed that the TCM module needed to be replaced; however, parts would not be available until 2023. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the warranty had expired. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The failure mileage was 162,000.
