NHTSA Complaint #11491295 — 2018 RAM 2500

The contact owns a 2018 RAM 2500. The contact stated that the ABS and traction control warning lights illuminated continuously. The contact stated that the failure indicated that the ABS system and the trailer brakes needed to be serviced. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the ABS pump and ABS module had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired due to parts being on back order. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000.
