Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated that after the horn button was pressed, a crack appeared on the steering wheel. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was then taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the driver's side air bag needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 45,000.
