Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2011 Ford F150. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and decelerated. The contact stated that the transmission failed to shift as needed. An unknown warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the instrument panel became inoperable. The contact pulled over, turned off and restarted the vehicle, the vehicle started operating as designed. The vehicle was diagnosed by the dealer and the contact was informed that the Leadframe needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 113,000.
