NHTSA Complaint #11487822 — 2021 JEEP WRANGLER

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while stationary at a traffic light, multiple warning lights were illuminated and the vehicle failed to shift out of park(P). The contact stated that a Police Officer assisted in manually moving the vehicle out of the street. The vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to a local dealer but was informed that the location did not have an employee to service the vehicle. The contact then towed the vehicle to Garden City Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram (283 N Franklin St, Hempstead, NY 11550:(516) 336-4712) where it was diagnosed with needing the hybrid battery replaced. The vehicle was repaired but failed to fix the vehicle. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,700.
