Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed and making a left turn, the steering wheel seized and a warning message was displayed on the instrument panel to check the steering wheel. The vehicle was diagnosed by a mechanic and the contact was informed that the power steering sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 53,000. The VIN was not available.
