Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2011 GMC Terrain. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic. The mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the timing chain and water pump needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle could no longer be started. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 157,000.
