Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rear windshield shattered and detached after her husband closed the driver's side front door. There was no impact on the rear windshield that could have caused it to shatter. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was waiting for the rear windshield replacement part to be installed on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,000.
