Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power while making turns. The failure nearly caused a collision. The vehicle was able to restart and was taken to the dealer; however, no error codes were retrieved. The dealer reset the transmission. The contact stated that it was a recurring failure for five years; however, the dealers were unable to repair the vehicle due to no error codes being retrieved. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 108,000.
