NHTSA Complaint #11478639 — 2014 JEEP WRANGLER

Greetings, My 2014 Jeep Wrangler has developed a ticking sound that is progressively getting worse. I have addressed this with my professional mechanic and noted to me after checking the engine that there is an issue with the engine and Chrysler knows about it yet no recall has been published. The issue has to do with the 3. 6l Pentastar engine is notorious for having a camshaft or lifter go bad. The answer is apparently to replace the headers. I have contacted Customer service at Chrysler and they are now claiming not to know about it. My mechanic stated that repairs can run about $2000. I would appreciate it if you would appropriately deal with this and inform me on the outcome.
