The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V650000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the vehicle shifted into limp mode with several warning messages displayed. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to accelerate above 45 MPH. The contact initially drove the vehicle back to the residence and attempted to recharge the vehicle however, the vehicle was not charged. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where it remained in their possession. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.
