Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that she noticed that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The contact stated that oil needed to be added every 115 miles. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the mechanic suggested that the engine be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the vehicle had to be repaired out of pocket. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.
