NHTSA Complaint #11465418 — 2022 TESLA MODEL Y

My vehicle hits the brakes when cruise control or autopilot is on, and it’s pretty frequent. It happens randomly when other vehicles are around but just as often when there are no other vehicles around. We passed a semi truck on the interstate doing 80, moved into the lane in front of it, suddenly my Tesla hits the brakes and goes from 80 to 60 in about a second. The semi was right on our bumper. Now when there’s a vehicle behind us we try not to have the cruise control on. I could go on and on. Bottom line is, it does it all the time, it’s not safe, and Tesla keeps telling me it’s a firmware problem. I added a screenshot of just our last drive to Denver from South Dakota. But it does it all the time.
