Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving approximately 46 MPH, the steering wheel locked while making a left turn. The contact instead turned right and the power steering warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and diagnosed with power steering failure. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 165,000. The VIN was not available.
