Consumer Description

Automatic Emergency Braking system activates when approaching a railroad crossing downhill (no train, signals, or warnings visible) and brings the vehicle to a complete stop. I could be rear-ended if a following vehicle were too close behind me. Dealer has been advised of problem but had no explanation or interest in pursuing issue. No one has inspected the vehicle for this issue. No warnings prior to brakes activating. Date below is most recent incident. It first occurred when car was new in 2017
