Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the seat belt alert chime would intermittently engage while the seat belt was in use. The seat belt warning light was also illuminated. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 74,800.
