Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle stalled in the middle of the highway. There were several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer who diagnosed that the crankshaft position sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 117,770.
