NHTSA Complaint #11459017 — 2014 NISSAN ROGUE

The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while her husband was driving approximately 55-60 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed and the blower motor engaged independently. The contact stated as soon as her husband released the brake pedal, the blower motor disengaged. Additionally, the vehicle emitted an abnormal sound. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that she had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System) which she associated with the failure. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 124,000.
