Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2008 Ford Edge. The contact stated that fuel was leaking from the fuel tank. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V682000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was approximately 176, 000.
