NHTSA Complaint #11455366 — 2014 DODGE DART

The passenger curtain air bags in the front and back seat exploded with no impact to the vehicle or an other vehicles involved in this incident. There were no issues of weather, street or road way hazard that could have interfered. I was driving normal, going straight and the air bags went off and the grab handle from the front seat hit me in the head when the air bag exploded and I passed out when I hit my head from the impact of the handle hitting me causing me to hit my head on my driver side window. I could have crashed and hurt myself and others from this incident. My windshield also cracked as well with no impact. My vehicle is available for inspection. I currently am having it inspected by my insurance. There were no light indictors or issues to the vehicle prior to this accident. Mercury Claims [XXX] Adjuster [XXX] ext [XXX] [XXX].
