Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that while driving at 25 mph, the steering wheel seized. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the power steering wheel needed to be replaced however it was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 240,000.
