Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2017 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle with the radio turned off, the backup camera would not display when the transmission was shifted into Reverse. Additionally, while the radio was turned on, the failure occurred intermittently. After contacting the local dealer, the owner was informed that a software update was needed to resolve the failure. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 85,000.
