Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2011 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH and making a turn, the steering wheel became difficult to turn. The contact was able to pull over and restart the vehicle. The contact stated that the power steering assist fault warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local mechanic where it was diagnosed with the EPS module needing to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and was awaiting a response. The failure mileage was approximately 126,000.
