NHTSA Complaint #11441573 — 2019 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that while driving at 25 MPH, the low tire pressure warning light illuminated. The contact stated that he added air to the tires however, the low tire pressure warning light illuminated again. The contact stated that he then took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the failure as a driver's side rear cracked rim. The vehicle was not repaired as he was waiting to transport it to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle to a Chevrolet dealer for diagnosis. The failure mileage was 6,500.
