The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the engine suddenly began to sputter and the check engine and traction control warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the rear differential had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact indicated that the rear differential had previously failed and was replaced in 2019 however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not yet notified of the failure.
