Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed there was a manufacturer’s engine cylinder defect. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 136,000.
