Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph when the driver's headrest suddenly detached and exploded from the driver seat. There was no impact to cause the detachment. The contact received injuries to their neck and back area. No medical assistance was received as of yet. The contact contacted the dealer who stated the headpiece would be replaced under an extended warranty. The vehicle had not been repaired as of yet. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage 59,000.
