Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that while parked, the driver's side headrest was deployed without warning or impact. The contact stated that while his wife was driving the driver's side headrest was deployed without warning or impact. The driver sustained injuries to the head and neck. Medical attention was provided. The driver's headrest was replaced with the passenger's side headrest after the first deployment by an independent mechanic. The local dealer was contacted but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
