Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V764000 (Suspension) several months ago however, the parts to do the repair was unavailable. The contact recently received another notice that stated that the parts were available however, the dealer stated that they did not have the parts. The dealer stated it would take several weeks to receive the parts. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The contact had not experienced a failure but was concerned if the vehicle was safe to drive. The contact stated that he was on hold for over an hour trying to speak to the manufacturer. The contact disconnected the call. Parts distribution disconnect.
